vDeck - Host Manager - Password Protect - Password Protecting a Folder
Log into your vDeck Control Panel and click on Host Manager.

Click on Password Protect.

Choose the folder you want to protect. If you want to protect public_html, click the (pw protect this directory) button instead. For this demo, we are going to password protect the test folder.

Now that we\'ve clicked on test, we need to click (password protect this directory).

For Name of protected area, you can type anything you would like.

Now fill in a username and a password. You can add more users if you run out of space by returning to this screen at a later time. When you\'re done, click Add Users.

You will see a message that informs you that the directory is now protected.
